Deconstructing Homelessness: Inaugural Class Graduates
A Moment in Time
It’s amazing how quickly the 6 weeks came and went, and within a flash an amazing achievement becomes a wonderful memory. On the 15th of January 2026, the inaugural Deconstructing Homelessness class sat down for the first session.
There were friends, people I’d worked with previously, and people I met for the first time when they entered.
I couldn’t have asked for a better group to be the first ones to test the course, to discuss the content, and to provide feedback. Seeing the dynamics of the group evolve, and the connections they’d make between each other was a privilege to facilitate and to be part of.
A Special Thank You
A special thank you to all the staff at Ballajura Library for hosting us and making us all feel welcome.
Second Iteration
The feedback from this amazing first group is being used to make adjustments and ready for it to be tested a second time. This time two cohorts will run concurrently, one south of the river at the Fremantle Library, and again north of the river at Ballajura Library.
